ACTINOMYCOSIS AND BLASTOMYCOSIS OF THE SPINE.

PARKER, CHARLES A.
The Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery: October 1923
Archive: PDF Only

It is thus evident that in dealing with actinomycosis and blastomycosis of the spine we are dealing with an extremely malignant condition, with all the distressing features incident thereto, and before which we are today practically powerless. Yet, as they are both infectious processes instead of biologic perversions, there is a reasonable hope that their baneful effects will eventually come more or less completely under our control.
