The Salter‐Harris classification system for physeal‐based fractures in skeletally immature patients has been available for clinicians since 1963. Remembering the fracture types in this classification system can be challenging to the student or new practitioner, especially if orthopaedics is not the primary area of practice. This article presents a simple visual guide to remembering the 5 types of fracture.
