Abstract

An interim evaluation of the relationship between training and experience of surgeons involved in the Dental Implant Clinical Research Group's prospective, long-term, implant investigation and second-stage osseointegration was accomplished. Results suggest that prior experience and training may influence the extent of osseointegration observed at second-stage uncovering of implants.
