Abstract

Home care nurses expressed physical discomfort and dissatisfaction associated with transporting supplies to and from their vehicles and clients' homes with their existing bags. This study used a participatory approach to design a nurse's bag and evaluated the level of satisfaction of home care nurses transporting supplies before and after a bag-system intervention. One nursing bag system was preferred by the majority of home care nurses above others tested, as well as previously used systems.
