Serves 4; 1 cup per serving

Refreshing and good for you, this fruit treat comes together in a flash and provides fiber from the apple and antioxidants from the deeply colored blueberries.

2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries (no thawing necessary)

2 cups ice cubes

1 large apple (about 8 ounces), any variety, cut into chunks (peel left on)

⅔ cup fresh orange juice

2 tablespoons honey

¼ cup fresh blueberries (optional)

In a blender, process the ingredients except the ¼ cup blueberries until smooth. Serve garnished with the remaining blueberries.
