Abstract

Low workplace morale is increasingly costly and is affecting organizations across many industries, particularly the health care industry. This article provides background information on the unique challenges faced by leadership and employees in health care. It explains how to align employees with the goals of the organization and provides readers with the tools that organizations can integrate to instill cultural change and improve professionalism, effectiveness, and accountability in all areas of the organization.
