Obstetrics & Gynecology:
In “Surgical Staples Compared With Subcuticular Suture for Skin Closure After Cesarean Delivery: A Randomized Controlled Trial” by D. Figueroa, V. C. Jauk, J. M. Szychowski, R. Garner, J. R. Biggio, W. W. Andrews, et al (Obstet Gynecol 2013; 121:33–8), the P value of 0.345 given in Table 4 for procedure time is incorrect. The significant P value of <.001 reported in the abstract and in the text of the Results section is the accurate value. The authors regret this error.
In “Pyomyoma After Uterine Artery Embolization” by M. L. Rosen, M. L. Anderson, and S. M. Hawkins (Obstet Gynecol 2013; 121:431–3), several errors occurred during production. In the fourth paragraph of the Case, the sentence incorrectly reads, “Her temperature within 24 hours and remained hemodynamically stable throughout the remainder of her hospitalization.” The correct sentence is, “Her temperature defeveresced within 24 hours and she remained hemodynamically stable throughout the remainder of her hospitalization.” The second error occurred in the same paragraph when a period was omitted at the end of the following sentence: “After an uncomplicated postoperative course, she was discharged home on postoperative day 5 to complete a 5-day course of amoxicillin/clavulanate.” The publisher regrets these errors.
