Obstetrics & Gynecology:
In “The ‘Exhibit Mall' at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Annual Clinical Meeting: Reflections on Consumerism and Medicine” by C. B. Sufrin (Obstet Gynecol 2008;112:1355–59), the following sentence at the top of the third column on p. 1358 should have been deleted: “If companies are promoting truly excellent products, then their merits should stand on their own without the need for branded trinkets?” This error occurred during production.
In “Robotic Gynecologic Surgery: A Brave New World” by J. L. Whiteside (Obstet Gynecol 2008;112: 1198–1200), there is an error in a sentence in the first column, second paragraph on p. 1199. The sentence erroneously reads: “Even if all 400 surgeries were candidates for a sacral colpopexy, given 46 hospitals and over 300 active licensed OB/GYNS in New Hampshire and Vermont clearly not all hospital and physician volumes will be sufficient to maintain competence.” The sentence should read: “Even if all 1,900 surgeries were candidates for a sacral colpopexy, given 46 hospitals and over 300 active licensed obstetrician–gynecologists in New Hampshire and Vermont, clearly not all hospital and physician volumes will be sufficient to maintain competence.” Four-hundred (400) should read “1,900.” This error occurred during production.
In “Comparison of Fetal and Neonatal Growth Curves in Detecting Growth Restriction” by A. M. Marconi, S. Ronzoni, P. Bozzetti, S. Vailati, A. Morabito, and F. C. Battaglia (Obstet Gynecol 2008;112:1227–34), a sentence in the Discussion on page 1233 incorrectly begins, “All IUGR fetuses of groups 2 and 3 …” The correct sentence is, “All IUGRAGA fetuses of groups 2 and 3 exhibited abnormal umbilical pulsatility index measurements of the umbilical artery.” The error occurred during production.
