Abstract

Hysterography has been extremely useful in evaluating patients with unexplained postmenopausal bleeding and as a guide for placement of intracavitary radiation therapy in the management of endometrial cancer. Concern exists, however, regarding potential dissemination of cancer using this technique. This report presents the 5-year survival rates for a group of patients in whom this technique was employed in the management of endometrial cancer.
