Dr. Suzanne Smith and a few colleagues have launched a web site to honor nurses. The site's free amenities include an e-card and bulletin board that can be used to send tributes and thanks to nurse colleagues who have made a difference.  High-quality HonorNurse cards and pins for nurses and one for those who "care, serve, and protect the best interests of others" are also available. Feel free to visit at www.HonorNurses.org.

From the Editor

Welcome to the online site for Dimensions of Critical Care Nursing (DCCN). Established in 1981, DCCN is published bimonthly by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, Inc. Its mission is to provide nurses with accurate, current, and relevant information and services to excel in critical care practice.

Each issue of DCCN has content applicable to four dimensions:  Clinical, Leadership, Educational, and Research. Additional content includes research abstracts concerning pediatric topics, editorials, and information important for critical care nurses.

Information for potential authors can be found on the "For Authors" tab. The editorial board, consultants, and reviewers of DCCN are committed to helping you develop high-quality articles for our audience. Feel free to contact us for any guidance needed in developing your manuscript.

We will be making frequent changes and updates to this site so please visit often. Feel free to e-mail me to comment or make suggestions for the site.

Thank you for visiting DCCN.

Sincerely,

Kathleen Ahern Gould, PhD, RN
