Dear Dr Sobel:

In the referenced review, we reported (p. 506) on a six-year longitudinal study of menopause (Reference 46) that I knew at the time of the in-depth review was falsified and fabricated. The initial paper reporting this study was appropriately retracted by the Editor6 after receiving notification from the University of Vermont that I had falsified and fabricated data reported in the initial Annals of Int. Med. Paper.

I accept full responsibility for the falsifications and fabrications in the referenced Coronary Artery Disease paper. My co-author was unaware of my actions, and now I publicly exonerate him. Please take whatever appropriate steps are available to you to correct the Coronary Artery Disease review article and inform the scientific community.
