Abstract

Synopsis: In patients from the Prospective Investigation of Pulmonary Embolism Diagnosis II (PIOPED II) study, the presence of enlargement of the right ventricle (RV) without hemodynamic shock or respiratory failure was not associated with an increased risk of death.
