INFOLINK: From the Editor's Desk
Happy New Year!
We hope everyone had a happy and healthy holiday season and is ready for 2014 to begin. This year marks the start of the 27th volume of Advances in Skin & Wound Care.
The journal’s most recent product launch is the Advances in Skin & Wound Care app for the iPad. With this tool, readers can literally have the latest clinical information on wound care strategies at their fingertips. Special bonuses, such as videos, podcasts, and topic-related links, are also included with certain articles. If you are using our app, be sure to take the survey and give us your feedback. We want to hear from you.
Our website, http://www.woundcarejournal.com, continues to advance and add new features. Check out the recent blogs, quick polls, videos, news updates, article collections, and the Wound Care CSI (Can you make the diagnosis?) section. Look for new article collections, more videos, and other special features in the coming month.
And, in its second year of receiving an impact factor ranking, Advances in Skin & Wound Care has advanced to 1.5. We look forward to achieving an even higher status this year, with an arsenal of groundbreaking articles, including original investigations, clinical concepts, and case presentations.
If you have an article idea, even if you have never written before, we’d like to hear from you. Feel free to e-mail potential topics to Kathleen.Greaves@wolterskluwer.com. You can also access our author guidelines on our website, http://journals.lww.com/aswcjournal/pages/informationforauthors.aspx.
We expect 2014 to be a very exciting year! Keep reading the journal, visiting the website, and checking out our new iPad app. And, mark your calendars now for the 29th annual Clinical Symposium on Advances in Skin & Wound Care, September 28 to October 1, 2014, The Mirage, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Let’s have a great year!
