We present a 31-year-old Japanese-American man with marked facial deformities secondary to acromegaly. Besides correcting the prognathism, we decreased the prominence of the cheeks and forehead by reduction osteotomy. The patient's postoperative course was uneventful, and his psychological improvement was apparent. We describe acromegaly-its components, findings, and medical and surgical treatments.
