A Hole Lot Better: The Dural Puncture Epidural Technique

Dural puncture epidural is a technique in which the dura is perforated with a spinal needle, but no intrathecal medication is given. In infographic, we describe a randomized controlled trial that compares dural puncture epidural technique to a combined spinal epidural and an epidural technique, comparing and contrasting efficacy of labor analgesia and side effect profile.1
