M.D.; Hortobagyi, Gabriel N. M.D.American Journal of Clinical Oncology: February 2000 - Volume 23 - Issue 1 - pp 40-41 Original Article Abstract Author Information Twelve women with metastatic breast cancer were treated with continuous infusion high dose leucovorin, 5-fluorouracil and cisplatin. Toxicity was severe although the dose was lower than previously described for the treatment of other cancers, and there was little anti-tumor activity. Many other regimens are more effective and less toxic. From the Department of Breast Medical Oncology, The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, U.S.A.
