I'm a postgraduate student of nursing at Tongji University in Shanghai, China. As a new graduate, I have a lot to learn. Reading as much of the literature as possible helps me to make a connection with advanced nursing knowledge outside of my country.

AJN is my favorite publication, and I have been particularly impressed with articles such as “Staffing Matters—Every Shift” (December 2012). We have the same (or even worse) problem in many areas of China.

“Men in Nursing” (January) really pressed my heart and left me feeling a little guilty, because several male classmates also majored in nursing, and I never cared or noticed the strain they experienced in fulfilling their roles.

I appreciate the fact that AJN greatly broadens my horizons.
