Abstract

Advanced emergency nurses are frequently called upon to endorse or recommend changes in practice. The purpose of this article is to summarize the current literature on evaluating evidence for practice and to recommend strategies for advanced emergency nurses to identify best practices when faced with multiple sources of different kinds of evidence.
