The breakdown was as follows: trisomy conditions (n = 136; 54%); anencephaly (n = 72; 28%); prematurity at 23 to 24 weeks (n = 55; 22%); hypoplastic heart or lungs (n = 32; 20%); grade IV intraventricular hemorrhage (n = 33; 13%); genetic disorders (n = 27; 11%); and multiorgan failure (n = 17; 7%).
