PURPOSE: The propose of the present study was to evaluate the effect of a bike indoor session on the physiological responses in experienced individuals at such programs.

METHODS: The sample was composed for 17 moderately trained individuals, 8 men and 9 women with ages between 18 and 30 years old. Was analyzed a session of trainings called Fartlek with 20min of duration varying the intensity between 75-85%HRmax. The analyzed variable was VO2, HR, RER, energy expenditure and sanguineous lactate. Test t Student was used to compare difference between the gender and adopted a significance of 5%.

RESULTS: The results had shown significant differences only in the VO2 and the energy consumption.
