Beth Stover, M.S., CSCS, is a researcher at the Gatorade Sports Science Institute where her work focuses on preexercise hydration, drinking response during exercise, and the hydration needs of fitness enthusiasts and young athletes.

Robert Murray, Ph.D., FACSM, is the director of the Gatorade Sports Science Institute and has interests in fluid and electrolyte balance, gastrointestinal physiology, and the effects of nutrition on performance.
